  18. Hi There,

Great info! I recently came across your blog and have been reading along.
I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have
I have another question on the customized menu in ISE. Currently, we need to Run our VBS script as the ISE customized Menu, when a SYMBOL IS OPENED.
CommandBars ("Main Menu Bar") in your code, does not meet this requirement. It just adds a customized menu when all the symbols are closed.
On an average, an Automation Anywhere script is approximately 100-150 KB. Additional free disk space is required to develop automation projects, as Automation Anywhere creates temporary files like screen-shots, server logs, audit files etc. during the execution of the automation scripts.
I read multiple articles and watched many videos about how to use this tool - and was still confused! Your instructions were easy to understand and made the process simple.

    Thanks,
    Suhan

  23. Hello Mate,

Allow me to show my gratitude ASHA24 bloggers. You guys are like unicorns. Never seen but always spreading magic. Your content is yummy. So satisfied.

This can be done with Windows API calls. It's a bit of a complicated process, but it can be done. Here's what you would do, in simple terms:

    1. Use the Automation Element functions to find the window of interest, by name. Start with the desktop, then find the Xpedition window, then the sub-windows within the Xpedition window.

    2. Get the handle of the object of interest, in this case a sub-window inside the Xpedition window.

    3. Use the handle and the Graphics tools in vb.net to get a bitmap image of the window you want.
Very useful article, if I run into challenges along the way, I will share them here.

    Cheers
    Morgan

  24. Hello There,

What a brilliant post I have come across and believe me I have been searching out for this similar kind of post for past a week and hardly came across this.

You enquired about List or Array.
I don't think I saw a way to access individual elements from a List without a loop.
But there is a way to access it from an Array.
    Refer the attached screenshot.
The Message Box command will show XYZ as that is the item on the 3rd row and 1st column.

Thanks a lot. This was a perfect step-by-step guide. Don’t think it could have been done better.

    Regards,
    Uday
